Come and explore the ancient practice of Qi Gong. Learn simple exercises and basic Qi Gong principles to improve your health, well-being and transform stress into vital energy. Also learn acupressure points to release stress and increase your energy. This workshop is suitable for anyone who is new to Qi Gong and to more seasoned Qi Gong students.
Qi Gong is a holistic healing method involving postures, movements, breathing, and meditation to heal and maintain harmony and balance within the body. Daily practice helps bring the mind into a state of tranquility and fine tunes the body.
Qigong can be done anywhere, anytime. The gentle, rhythmic movements of Qigong reduce stress, build stamina, increase vitality, and enhance the immune system. It has also been found to improve cardiovascular, respiratory, circulatory, lymphatic and digestive functions.
Michelle Turley practices Traditional Chinese Medicine, which includes Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine, Chinese Dietary Medicine, Medical Qigong and Therapeutic Massage Therapy in the Sierra Nevada Mountains of Truckee, California. She also teaches courses that improve the knowledge of Eastern thought, theory and energy medicine.
