Tai Chi for Health – New Weekly Class
Starting in November, every Thursday from 4-5pm. (no class 11/28 and 12/26)
The gentle weight-bearing and strength training movements of Tai Chi can benefit anyone wishing to improve their health and quality of life. This class will focus on the gentle Sun style Tai Chi, along with the sets of moves found in the Tai Chi for Health programs. It will emphasize balance, good posture, and inner tranquility. This class is suitable for all ages and levels of fitness.
Regular studio rates apply: $15 Drop In, $65 for a 5-pack, $120 for a 10-pack. No need to pre-register. Cash and checks accepted.
Please bring indoor only shoes or slippers to wear, the floor is cold! Regular shoes are not allowed in the studio – thanks for understanding!

Barbara Inyan has a longtime interest in Tai Chi, beginning with her study of the traditional Yang Form in Berkeley in the 1970s. Recently, she expanded her Tai Chi knowledge to include more of its healing aspects, and obtained certifications in several Tai Chi for Health programs. Barbara feels that Tai Chi is a moving meditation, a dance connecting body and spirit with the Universe, and a perfect complement to yoga practice. Through Tai Chi she seeks to support students to explore safely their abilities and potential.
