Alice Kennedy is an alignment based Hatha yoga teacher. Known for her light-hearted playful approach, Alice’s classes bring a sense of fun and community to the practice of yoga. Grounded in a strong heart-body foundation, her students are surprised at how they can begin to do things they didn’t think possible, leading to more beauty and confidence on and off their mats. She has studied and worked at several yoga and Buddhist centers, and teaches in Brazil and Costa Rica. Alice studied Anusara yoga with Darren Rhodes, Christina Sell, Kenny Graham, and Samantha Shakti Brown from 2004-2012, and taught that style for several years. She has learned a unique blend of care and therapeutics to help heal the body and mend the heart. When she isn’t studying yoga, she can be found hiking the Santa Cruz mountains, nestled at home with a book, or plotting her next big adventure!
